Before embarking on the practice of Law, Douglas K. Dennis provided security for some of the largest nightclubs in New York City, NY, as well as other states in the southern United States.  Mr. Dennis was also a successful Booking Agent with Famous Artists Agency in New York.  From the age of 19, he represented a roster of over 150 musical performance acts including such greats as Peabo Bryson, Patti LaBelle, James Ingram, the Four Tops and Will Smith.  

At the onset of hostilities in the first Persian Gulf War, Mr. Dennis enlisted as an Electronics Warfare Technician in the U.S. Navy, and ultimately served aboard the USS John Hancock (DD981) while deployed in the Red Sea during Desert Storm/Desert Shield. 

Immediately following his Honorable Discharge, Mr. Dennis secured employment with Federal Express Corporation here in Cookeville, Tennessee, and eventually worked his way up the corporate ladder to become an Operations Manager for the shipping giant. 

Douglas K. Dennis is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tennessee Technological University. He graduated with multiple awards from The University of Tennessee's College of Law, and a concentration in the Advocacy Program.  

Along with his experience with the District Attorney General's Office in Knox County, TN, and his past employment with one of the premier Criminal Defense attorney's in Tennessee, Mr. Dennis applies his life experiences to every aspect of his private Law practice.
